Strong connection, adept video

I upgraded from 4 to 5 stars. Realized I penalized the developer for what could be and is likely a Windows issue. Also I just upgraded to the pay version. I may never use the additional features just desire to support a great app. My original review follows:

I use DroidCam to connect my iPhone eight to my Win10 reckoner via Wifi. For some reason I can't get information technology to connect via USB. If it did I would give information technology v stars. Gives me a prissy video prototype and proficient sound. I tried other apps but I couldn't get any connectedness or could not go a stable connection. I've been on one ane/2 hour Zoom calls with DroidCam with no problems.

Completely true claims - Wonderful app.

I usually never take the time to rate apps, just this ane desvenes a rating. It works well, and it'due south free. Never whatever advertisements, no watermarks, and information technology works better than everyone other wifi/usb phone photographic camera app. Even large companies like Elva to crumble to this app. It'due south seriously good. I've been using it for my streams now for months. People accept asked me what photographic camera I use, and I tell them my iPhone. Low battery? Too lazy to get get your charger? This app is smart plenty to use your photographic camera while saving your battery.

Seriously this app is neat.

Saved me from buying a Webcam

Had this iPhone 6s laying around and needed a webcam for my stream and webex/zoom calls. Works very well when phone is connected to a charger. Have not tried the mic on this app, but imagine information technology uses the the speaker mic similar information technology would on a phone call.

The complimentary stuff but lets you do 480p or 720p but it adds a watermark. Personally 480p is perfectly serviceable when streaming games, you cant fifty-fifty tell the difference.

Would recommend making a phone holder or buying one if y'all're using this as a webcam.
